Role Overview
We are seeking a senior technical expert to take full ownership of our AI-dedicated data center operations in Indonesia. This is a hands-on role responsible for maintaining GPU clusters, ensuring high availability of AI training and inference workloads, and serving as the primary on-site infrastructure authority. You will be the first technical hire in Indonesia, working closely with global engineering and algorithm teams to ensure stable and scalable AI compute operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize AI cloud platform servers and GPU clusters to support intensive training and inference workloads.
• Ensure high availability and stability of all AI infrastructure, proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
• Lead incident response and root cause analysis for complex hardware and system-level failures.
• Support algorithm and research teams by ensuring compute resources are available, properly configured, and performing optimally.
• Coordinate with local vendors and facility partners to maintain service levels and infrastructure reliability.
• Establish and implement local operational procedures, aligning with global standards and compliance requirements.
• Plan for future capacity expansion, working with global teams to scale infrastructure in line with business growth.

Technical Requirements

• This is a hands-on technical role requiring deep GPU infrastructure expertise and real-world data center troubleshooting capability.
• Strong working knowledge of GPU architecture (NVIDIA preferred)
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex data center issues
• Experience supporting high-performance AI workloads
• Comfortable operating independently in a mission-critical environment
      

Other requirements

• 8–15 years of experience in data center operations, HPC infrastructure, or related fields.
• Deep hands-on expertise with NVIDIA GPU clusters and high-performance computing environments.
• Proven experience supporting AI training and inference workloads in production settings.
• Strong troubleshooting skills at both hardware and system level.
• Experience managing high-density racks and large-scale data center operations.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Willing to relocate long-term to Indonesia.
• Comfortable with 24/7 incident response when required.
