The company develops technologies that transcend some of the most challenging handicaps of camera phones. JOB DESCRIPTION
- Managing the company’s sales activities in China. Acquisition of deep knowledge about customer requirements and plans
- Generating and maintaining quality contacts with decision makers
- Negotiating licensing contracts in line with the company’s policy
- Managing accounts at the pre sale and post sale stage
- Managing engagement with the relevant supply chain partners
- On-going communication with the company’s R&D, marketing and management
- Reporting to company’s VP, China
Requirements:
- A proven track record of sales to smartphone OEMs and ecosystem
- Experience in making complex sales in millions of dollars scale
- Experience in IP licensing business model, or selling software, or selling silicon IP / chips
- Engineering background, preferably in the imaging domain (optics, imaging, etc.)
- Personal acquaintance and deep understanding of the industry and the conventional business models.
- Excellent English and Chinese language skills.
- Ability to travel extensively across China
- Ability to perform independently
- The following are advantageous:
- Customer focused and results oriented sales professional that is willing to roll-up the sleeves and work in the trenches as needed.
- Managing a global OEM sales experience - Extensive international experience managing teams in Asia and working with headquarter/management in Europe/US, to achieve company revenue and profitability goals.
- A strong experience with design-in/design-win OEM component sales in Tier 1 mobile handsets. A complete understanding of system architectures and design cycles along with the ecosystem support required in these segments.
- Sales operational experience - revenue forecasting and planning, revenue quotas for incentive plans, sales processes and support, strategic planning, and organizational planning
