This famous multinational global company engages in the design, manufacture, marketing, and service of semiconductor processing equipment used in the fabrication of integrated circuits.
Summary:
Multinational Company seeks to recruit an accomplished Human Resources executive with a strong background in human resources in global technology companies. This is a great opportunity for an individual to lead the HR function in China in a growing company. The successful candidate will possess a strategic as well as operational mindset and have experience implementing global policies and practices within a local context. This leader will leverage the global HR model, including partnership with Global COE and HR operations leaders, to meet business needs within China.
Key Responsibilities:
• Understand the company’s strategy and translate organization capability needs into human resource implications
• Partner with management to deliver annual Human Resources initiatives and business- driven organizational and people strategies, as defined in annual planning cycles
• Lead organization effectiveness, org design/development, succession, and workforce planning for China businesses
• Participate as a key member of the business leadership team for China
• Champion Multinational Company’s core values as role models of the culture, built on a foundation of honesty and integrity
• Partner with Talent Acquisition and managers to hire, onboard and assimilate talent to fulfill growing business needs
• Coach leaders to optimize high-performing teams and leverage shared services to address employee relations issues
• Lead, coach and communicate effectively to build strong relationships to successfully manage performance of China HR team
• Establish effective working relationships with regional COE leaders and teams to ensure successful talent and rewards strategies
• Cultivate an HR community across China for all solid and dotted-line HR employees Represent China in all HR matters by advocating for all businesses within the region, as well as representing Multinational Company externally in terms of employer branding, statutory requirements, etc.
• Proactively gather insights on local trends and benchmarking to influence global policies and practices Liaise with statutory boards on HR-related matters.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 10+ years of related experience and 8+ years in mgmt. An advanced degree preferred.
• Fluent Mandarin and English language

Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated success partnering with business leaders to deliver results through human resource initiatives
- Experience leading a human resources function linking together various businesses into a cohesive, country-based approach
- Experience working in a highly complex technology industry; experience in the semiconductor industry experience is preferable
- Excellent customer relationship management and consultation skills, including influencing and collaboration
- Understanding how to balance strategy and business acumen to best invest resources and maximize impact
- An empowered self-starter able to work without significant oversight and follow through to impactful execution
- Prowess handling multiple projects, prioritizing and acting with a sense of urgency
- Exhibit effective business judgment and business acumen, sound decision-making, and the ability to set or adjust priorities as the business environment demands shift
- Have strong interpersonal and influence skills to establish and build strong rapport and partnerships with leadership and Global Human Resources Operate with a sense of urgency, bias for action, and possess an authentic desire to thrive in a complex organization
- Strong detail orientation working hands-on in a complex matrix organization
- At least 12 years of progressive leadership experience in human resources
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
