Job Title: Field Service Director of APAC
Location: Japan, Tokyo, MATSUBARACHO AKISHIMA
We are seeking an exceptional individual to join us as the Global Service Director of APAC Field Service, overseeing Photonics (Lasers and Light source) and Vacuum products. Our company is a leader in providing cutting-edge solutions in these domains.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and Deploy Teams: Direct and deploy the Field Service teams in APAC across Photonics, Equipment Solutions, and Vacuum Division.
- Leadership and Coaching: Provide leadership and coaching to the team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Customer Focus: Understand and prioritize customer needs. Manage complex customer issues and escalations with a customer-centric approach.
- Resource Management: Schedule resources and materials efficiently to meet customer requirements.
- Initiative Development: Develop and drive initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Performance Metrics: Refine KPIs and BKMs, driving efficiency improvements within the field service organization.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal organizations, including the global field service management team, sales, product managers, supply chain, IT, legal, and human resources.
- Revenue Growth: Strategically grow field service revenue and profitability in the APAC region.
Experience Requirements:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication, motivation, facilitation, and effective presentation skills. English language is required, in addition, Chinese language is a big plus
- Management Experience: At least 3 years of professional experience in managing large teams.
- Industry Experience: Prior experience in the service of capital goods, laser technology, and vacuum technology is highly desirable.
