Primary Responsibility:
This position is responsible for the direction, strategy, planning and execution of the Company's China operations. Responsible for directing a major part of the organization’s business / sales activity, such as a given channel, product line, accounts, etc. Develops sales strategies and reviews such strategies throughout the year. Forecasts sales volumes for a major part of the products in the international market. Prepares sales metrics and is responsible for reporting. Identifies new sales markets. This position requires frequent overnight travel.
Scope: Establish strategic plans and objectives. Makes final decisions on administrative or operational matters and ensures operations’ effective achievement of objectives.
Job Complexity: Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of the company. Participates in corporate development of methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and people. Ensures budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements.
Interaction: Regularly interacts with executives and/or major customers. Interactions frequently involve special skills, such as negotiating with customers or management or attempting to influence senior level leaders regarding matters of significance to the organization.
Supervision: Directs and controls the activities of a broad functional area through several department managers within the company. Has overall control of planning, staffing, budgeting, managing expense priorities, and recommending and implementing changes to methods.

Responsibilities:
- Oversees and manages Country Managers, and hands-on operations of the China functions
- Works closely with the superior to coordinate support and strategies for customers
- Develops and manages budgeting and budget execution with a focus on product costs and margins
- Supports new business and implements business practices that support MNC' China and global initiatives
- Establishes strong business relationships with key customers throughout China.
- Ensures the company complies with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements and implements best practices where appropriate
- Indirect responsibilities also include Engineering, Finance, Human Resources, IT, Quality, and Service
- Other responsibilities
Experience & Education:
- Bachelor's degree, Master's preferred, in a technical/related field
- 10+ years' experience in product engineering, manufacturing engineering and operations in a certified manufacturing organization (ISO certification), with 5 years in a senior management role
- Experience in materials management, from planning through purchasing, and negotiation and administration of procurement agreements
- 25-40% travel, both domestic and international
- Strong leadership and communications skills; extensive experience interacting with customers and within cross-functional or matrix organizations
- Direct skills in P&L management
- In depth knowledge of the local semiconductor industry and competitor landscape
- Excellent knowledge of all General Management functions including Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR, Legal, etc.
- Good command of English
