A solid US based, multinational public company designs, manufactures, markets semiconductor wafer processing equipment used in the fabrication of integrated circuits.
Responsibilities
•Work with customer R&D to provide development guidance using advanced annealing for future nodes.
•Support the customer to solve problems related to insertion of the product into customer’s manufacturing process requirements.
•Provide both on-site and remote applications support to customers.
•Assist Sales in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs and preparing detailed product specifications.
•Demonstrate machines to customers and provide customer training to ensure equipment is used effectively.
•Represent the customer’s interest in technical meetings with the company.
•Evaluate engineering upgrades and other product proposals submitted by development Engineering to determine the practicality and usefulness of the application by customers.
Skills and requirements:
•Demonstrated hands-on in recipe set up, process tuning and strong trouble shooting skill, familiar with RTP process, including traditional anneal, millisecond anneal, ISSG, DPN and RPO.
•At least MS in Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. MS in Physics, Microelectronics, Material Science or related technical discipline, and Ph.D is preferred.
•Excellent data analysis, documentation and communications skill. This position requires generation of reports and presentations for internal and customer review.
•Must be able to work independently under pressure in a highly dynamic environment.
•3-5 years of process engineering experience in equipment supplier, major development or manufacturing fab is preferred.
•Willing to travel.
