Responsibility:
- Development of solutions for product improvement and reliability in cooperation with the software development team
- Support of colleagues and customers in the analysis of software malfunctions
- Support of software installations on existing products at customer sites
- Support of customers in the integration of our equipment into factory automation systems
- Reconstruction and documentation of error scenarios
Qualification:
- Successfully completed studies in the fields of engineering informatics, computer science, electrical engineering or comparable
- Fast recording and analysis of technically complex interrelationships and problems, as well as systematic processing using problem-solving strategies
- Field Support knowledge and troubleshooting experience with semiconductor equipment, electronic hardware, PC-based computing environment and development tools
- Basic knowledge of the Unix/Linux operating system, electrical engineering and field bus systems is desirable
- Knowledge of operating system principles and basic hardware capabilities
- Basic knowledge of the current technological trends in the software development industry, such as object-oriented
- Ability to analyze data and draw logical conclusions
- High degree of initiative, flexibility, and ability to work in a team
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
