Sr. Cost Accountant

Company is MNC with manufacturing plants in USA, South America and China.
This MNC is a global provider of instruments, subsystems and process control solutions that measure, control, power, monitor and analyze critical parameters of advanced manufacturing processes to improve process performance and productivity.
 
Primary Responsibility: 

• Establish and maintain effective and efficient standard cost processes, perform periodic standard cost reviews/ adjustments; 
• Month end closing for cost related 
• Analyze and report cost variances 
• Analyze and comment on monthly financial projections and performance analysis 
• Provide most updated cost information for pricing purpose 
• Conduct cost analysis and evaluate existing business flows to identify potential improvement opportunities 
• Support regular and ad hoc business analytical requirements 

              
Job Requirements: 

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline 
• Eight years and above working experience in Foreign Company (US manufacturing preferred) 
• Strong business sense, numeric sense and ability to understand business performance drivers 
• Excellent computer and analytical skills 
• Independent, flexible, details oriented, able to work under high pressure and meet tight deadlines 
• Good command of both spoken and written English 
• Proficiency in MS Excel/ Access. Oracle experience highly desirable
