Primary Responsibility:
Responsible for design and productizing cutting edge, high efficiency RF power generation equipment for thin films processing.
* Power amplifier topologies (Class A/B, Class C, Class E, Class D, etc)
* Passive subassembly designs; filters, combiners, dividers, etc.

Primary Responsibility:
Responsible for design and productizing cutting edge, high efficiency RF power generation equipment for thin films processing.
- Product involves:
* Power amplifier topologies (Class A/B, Class C, Class E, Class D, etc)
* Passive subassembly designs; filters, combiners, dividers, etc.
- Verify design margin using circuit simulations and bench testing.
- Improve design robustness by participating in FMEA (failure modes and effect analyses) and DFx (design for manufacturability, assembly, and servicability) exercises.
- Analyze design variability for statistical design margin in manufacturing.
- Thoroughly document and explain designs to peer reviewers, internal and external customers.
- Oversee and participate in test-to-specification and reliability qualification tests
- Comfortable with subassembly and system level integration/trouble-shooting
Requirements:
- MS in EE or equivalent and > 7yrs experience in RF or switch-mode power electronics.
- Experience with circuit simulation tools (e.g. SPICE, Agilent ADS, Microwave Office, etc.
- Ability to understand and manage tradeoffs between cost, performance and power density.
- Good writing skills (specifications, test reports, engineering analyses, etc).
- Excellent organizational skills a must.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment with purchasing, manufacturing engineering, etc.
