JOB TITLE: Sr. HR Manager
REPORTS TO: HRD APAC
FUNCTION: Human Resource
LOCATION: Yongin, Korea
PURPOSE STATEMENT
The human resource manager is directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the human resource function.
DIMENSIONS
Direct reports: 1
Company Headcount: ~180
Primary Responsibilities:
Directs the planning, implementation, and/or administration of human resources programs for 3 business units (Vacuum & Analysis, Light & Motion and Power Solution Asia in 2 locations, Giheung & Daejeon)
Human resources programs which may include employment, responding to employee relation issues, employment practices, organizational development, administers the Company’s annual performance and salary review process and affirmative action. Advises managers, supervisors, and employees in interpretation and application of company human resources policies and procedures; serves as liaison and provides technical expertise to resolve human resources related issues. Manages the day-to-day activities at the division or site. Responds to inquires regarding policies, procedures, and programs. Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

- Develops and administers various human resources plan and procedures for all company personnel.
- Assess and implement organizational development programs, processes and training initiatives to support organizational strategies
- Manages the activities involved in the design, preparation, delivery and need assessment of training and development programs for managers and employees.
- Implements and annually updates the compensation program; analyzes compensation; lead and monitors the performance evaluation program and revises as necessary.
- Develops, recommends and implements personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains handbook on policies and procedures; performs benefits administration.
- Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt, nonexempt and temporary workers;
- Establishes and maintains department records and reports. Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings, such as seminars.
- Evaluates reports, decisions and results of department initiatives in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
- Ensures compliance with all employment laws.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 5 years’ in HR Manager’s role
- Fluent in both English and Korean
- Have strong communication and relationship management skills
- Solid understanding of business and employees
- Company integration experience is preferred
- Understand multinational company’s work process
