Senior Sales Territory Manager -
Responsible for Zhejiang Province,
Reporting to office in Shanghai Jinqiao District)
MNC with manufacturing plants in USA, South America and China.
This MNC is a global provider of instruments, subsystems and process control solutions that measure, control, power, monitor and analyze critical parameters of advanced manufacturing processes to improve process performance and productivity.
Responsible of new account development and expanding existing accounts within an established geographic territory. Primary responsibility is to sell the company’s products, and generally responsible for finding and generating new customers. Typically handles more critical accounts or larger territories. Calls on prospective customers, provides technical and administrative product information and/or demonstrations, and quotes appropriate customer prices. Represents the company to the customer and the customer to the company in sales-related matters; understanding of customer’s business and product requirements is necessary. Fully knowledgeable about company products. Responsible for meeting assigned sales quota. This position requires frequent overnight travel. Five years of sales experience is required.
Advanced Level (4):
Knowledge: Having wide-ranging experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. Some barriers to entry exist at this level (e.g., dept / peer review).
Knowledge: A seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of area of specialization; resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways. This job is the fully qualified, career-oriented, journey-level position.
Job Complexity: Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise.
Supervision: Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments.
Experience & Education: Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience. Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with a thorough working knowledge of company products, company functions, marketing and/or service policies and procedures and excellent communication skills.
