Senior Sales Territory Manager - (Korea, Republic of)
Summary:
Responsible for new account development and/or expanding existing accounts within an established geographic territory. Primary responsibility is to sell MNC Instruments products, and generally responsible for finding and generating new customers, typically handleing more critical accounts or larger territories. Call on prospective customers, provide technical and administrative product information and/or demonstrations, and quote appropriate customer prices. Represent the company to the customer and the customer to the company in sales-related matters; understanding of customer's business and product requirements is necessary. Fully knowledgeable about company products. Responsible for meeting assigned sales quota. This position requires frequent overnight travel.
Requirements:
Knowledge: Having wide-ranging experience, use professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. Some barriers to entry exist at this level (e.g., dept/ peer review).
Job Complexity: Work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise.
Supervision: Determine methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other personnel.
Experience & Education: Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience. Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with a thorough working knowledge of company products, company functions, marketing and/or service policies and procedures and excellent communication skills.
Additional Qualifications:
B.S. in Engineering, Material Science, Chemistry or Physics.
At least 6-8 years field sales experience or technical marketing experience in the semiconductor or related industry(LCD, LED, Solar), preferably with a US multinational company.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in Korean and English.
Proven track record in partnering with a Business Team to drive top-line and bottom-line results. As the scope of the function is wide, the ability to organize and prioritise is emphasised. The Job Holder must work and interact with culturally diverse people at all levels - negotiation, influencing, communication and presentation skills are necessary.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and willing to "roll-up" sleeves as required. Be able to get involved hands on.
Organized, disciplined work ethic committed to adhering to deadlines.
Awareness of all functions and their inter-relation is necessary with strong communication skills.
Good at Microsoft Office Software.
